a) Some users find this is corrected by rebooting windows.
b) If rebooting Windows does not solve the problem, click here for further details about fonts:
a) If you have a very old version of "At Home
with Hebrew", and you just upgraded your computer, there is a chance that the
original version will not install on the later operating systems. The
original CDs have a yellow/gold color on one side (of the actual CD).
Later CDs either have a stick on label, or just have words printed on a white or
silver background. I'll be glad to send you a new CD for $10. Just
send $10 via Paypal to
nwalters@sprynet.com or mail $10 check or money order to
Neal Walters, Attn: Hebrew Upgrade CD, 1770 Plummer Dr., Rockwall, TX 75087.
b) It is also possible that you just got a bad CD. Email me at nwalters@sprynet.com with your name, address (and your order # if you have it), and I will send you a replacement.
This occasionally happens if you press the start button
before waiting for the dancing letters to finish. My suggest is to go to
the pull down menu "Help" and then go to "Preferences" and
turn off the dancing letters. Then you won't have to wait for them each
time you start the program.

The safest thing is to delete and re-install all the fonts that start with the word "Hebrew". It sounds like maybe they didnt automatically get installed (or that maybe you deleted them?).
First, check to see what is installed:
There are six fonts pairs (each with and without vowels), and a 13th font called Hebrew Learn Cursive.
Go to Settings, Control Panel, Fonts, at this point, I prefer "View Details".
Page down till you get to "Hebr". The "Nov" means NoVowels.
You should see the following fonts:
Hebr Nov Ancient
Hebr Nov Bold
Hebr Nov Cursive
Hebr Nov HandWriting
Hebr Nov Rashi
Hebr Nov Ruth
Hebrew Ancient
Hebrew Bold
Hebrew Book Type
Hebrew Cursive
Hebrew HandWriting
Hebrew Learn Cursive
Hebrew Rashi
Hebrew Ruth
If any of these are missing, click on File, Install New Font, then navigate to the directory where you installed Hebrew (default is C:\HEBREW4). This should cause all .TTF files (True Type Fonts) to be listed. Click on the "Select All" button, then OK to install them.
If any of them are already installed, you will have to just pick the ones that are not installed.
